Jeremiah 5:7-8

Jerusalem Refused to Repent

⁷ _l "How can I pardon you?
Your children have forsaken me
_m and have sworn by those who are no gods.
_n When I fed them to the full,
_o they committed adultery
_p and trooped to the houses of whores.
⁸ They were well-fed, lusty stallions,
_q each neighing _r for his neighbor's wife.
