Jeremiah 31:3-4

The Lord Will Turn Mourning to Joy

³ the Lord appeared to him ₁ from far away.
_c I have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore _d I have continued _e my faithfulness to you.
⁴ _f Again I will build you, and you shall be built,
O virgin Israel!
_g Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines
and shall go forth in _h the dance of the merrymakers.
