1 Thessalonians 2:3-5

Paul's Ministry to the Thessalonians

³ For _l our appeal does not spring from _m error or _n impurity or _o any attempt to deceive, ⁴ but just as we have been approved by God _p to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not _q to please man, but to please God _r who tests our hearts. ⁵ _s For we never came with words of flattery, ₁ as you know, nor with a pretext for greed - _t God is witness.
