Ask a QuestionSo Jonah went out of the city and sat on the east side of the city. There he made himself a shelter and sat under it in the shade, till he might see what would become of the city.
God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
'oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense;
May that day be darkness; May God above not seek it, Nor the light shine upon it.
Or why was I not hidden like a stillborn child, Like infants who never saw light?

"I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city." '
"Now therefore, gather the rest of the people together and encamp against the city and take it, lest I take the city and it be called after my name."
