[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.] Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
[A Psalm of David.] I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
[A Psalm of David.] LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

[To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David.] Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
[To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.] Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
