But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

But when he saw Jesus afar off *, he ran and worshipped him,
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need * not a physician; but they that are sick.
And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
But Jesus * did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.
After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.
The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.
Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
