Ask a QuestionFor if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away unharmed? Therefore may the Lord reward you with good for what you have done for me this day.
In His hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

This is the Bread that came down from heaven. It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate, and yet died; he who takes this Bread for his food shall live forever.
But Jesus, knowing within Himself that His disciples were complaining and protesting and grumbling about it, said to them: Is this a stumbling block and an offense to you? [Does this upset and displease and shock and scandalize you?]
And Jesus said to him, You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live [enjoy active, blessed, endless life in the kingdom of God].
For this [reason] the Father loves Me, because I lay down My [own] life--to take it back again.
Depart from evil and do good; and you will dwell forever [securely].
Whoever rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I should not lose any of all that He has given Me, but that I should give new life and raise [them all] up at the last day.
You shall be proved by this test: by the life of Pharaoh, you shall not go away from here unless your youngest brother comes here.
