The Lord's Chosen Servant
"Behold! a My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul b delights!
c I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,
Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.
He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;
d And the coastlands shall wait for His law."
Thus says God the LORD,
e Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it,
f Who gives breath to the people on it,
And spirit to those who walk on it:
"I, g the LORD, have called You in righteousness,
And will hold Your hand;
I will keep You h and give You as a covenant to the people,
As i a light to the Gentiles,
j To open blind eyes,
To k bring out prisoners from the prison,
Those who sit in l darkness from the prison house.
I am the LORD, that is My name;
And My m glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them."

You are My witnesses," says the LORD, "And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.
"And He said to me, 'You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.'
Indeed He says, 'It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.'
Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.
But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!
Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, "You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.
To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself.
The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:
In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would fail before Me, And the souls which I have made.
And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.
Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
Thus says the LORD: "In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You As a covenant to the people, To restore the earth, To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages.
Indeed He says, 'It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.
A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.
And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
"For so the Lord has commanded us: 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
2 Timothy 2:26
And that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.
The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.
Exodus 20:3 - 5
You shall have no other gods before Me.
For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.
