Oh come, let us sing to the LORD!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
Let us shout joyfully to Him with a psalms.
For b the LORD is the great God,
And the great King above all gods.
In His hand are the deep places of the earth;
The heights of the hills are His also.
c The sea is His, for He made it;
And His hands formed the dry land.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let d us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
For He is our God,
And e we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand.
f Today, if you will hear His voice:
"Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion,
g As in the day of trial in the wilderness,
When h your fathers tested Me;
They tried Me, though they i saw My work.
For j forty years I was grieved with that generation,
And said, 'It is a people who go astray in their hearts,
And they do not know My ways.'
So k I swore in My wrath,
'They shall not enter My rest.' "

Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.
For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.
1 Corinthians 8:5
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords).
1 Corinthians 8:6
Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
So he said to them, "I am a Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.
2 Chronicles 6:13
(for Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it, knelt down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven).
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture, Will give You thanks forever; We will show forth Your praise to all generations.
Hebrews 3:7 - 11
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice.
While it is said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.
Again He designates a certain day, saying in David, "Today," after such a long time, as it has been said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.
Exodus 17:2 - 7
Therefore the people contended with Moses, and said, "Give us water, that we may drink." So Moses said to them, "Why do you contend with me? Why do you tempt the LORD?
This was the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the LORD, and He was hallowed among them.
And they tested God in their heart By asking for the food of their fancy.
1 Corinthians 10:9
Nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents.
Because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice.
He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years.
Now for a time of about forty years He put up with their ways in the wilderness.
Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, 'They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.
Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?
They certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.
Numbers 14:28 - 30
Say to them, 'As I live,' says the LORD, 'just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you:
Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land of which I swore to give to your fathers.
For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: "So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest,' " although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
And again in this place: "They shall not enter My rest.
