Now a it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the LORD's house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And peoples shall flow to it.
Many nations shall come and say,
"Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths."
For out of Zion the law shall go forth,
And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
He shall judge between many peoples,
And rebuke strong nations afar off;
They shall beat their swords into b plowshares,
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
c Neither shall they learn war anymore.
d But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree,
And no one shall make them afraid;
For the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken.
For all people walk each in the name of his god,
But e we will walk in the name of the LORD our God
Forever and ever.
"In that day," says the LORD,
f "I will assemble the lame,
g I will gather the outcast
And those whom I have afflicted;
I will make the lame h a remnant,
And the outcast a strong nation;
So the LORD i will reign over them in Mount Zion
From now on, even forever.
And you, O tower of the flock,
The stronghold of the daughter of Zion,
To you shall it come,
Even the former dominion shall come,
The kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem."
Now why do you cry aloud?
j Is there no king in your midst?
Has your counselor perished?
For k pangs have seized you like a woman in labor.
Be in pain, and labor to bring forth,
O daughter of Zion,
Like a woman in birth pangs.
For now you shall go forth from the city,
You shall dwell in the field,
And to l Babylon you shall go.
There you shall be delivered;
There the m LORD will n redeem you
From the hand of your enemies.
o Now also many nations have gathered against you,
Who say, "Let her be defiled,
And let our eye look upon Zion."
But they do not know q the thoughts of the LORD,
Nor do they understand His counsel;
For He will gather them r like sheaves to the threshing floor.
"Arise s and t thresh, O daughter of Zion;
For I will make your horn iron,
And I will make your hooves bronze;
You shall u beat in pieces many peoples;
v I will consecrate their gain to the LORD,
And their substance to w the Lord of the whole earth."

Isaiah 2:2 - 4
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.
Thus says the Lord GOD: "I will take also one of the highest branches of the high cedar and set it out. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and will plant it on a high and prominent mountain.
But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:
"Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come."
Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.
He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'
In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.
1 Kings 4:25
And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.'
So I will strengthen them in the LORD, And they shall walk up and down in His name," Says the LORD.
"I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment."
The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together like sheep of the fold, Like a flock in the midst of their pasture; They shall make a loud noise because of so many people.
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the LORD of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.
"And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end."
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!
Listen! The voice, The cry of the daughter of my people From a far country: " Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her King in her?" "Why have they provoked Me to anger With their carved images - With foreign idols?
And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames.
Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?
2 Chronicles 36:20
And those who escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia.
Therefore I will send you into captivity beyond Damascus," Says the LORD, whose name is the God of hosts.
I have raised him up in righteousness, And I will direct all his ways; He shall build My city And let My exiles go free, Not for price nor reward," Says the LORD of hosts.
Micah 7:8 - 12
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.
Ezra 1:1 - 3
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying.
Now these are the people of the province who came back from the captivity, of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his own city.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me.
All your enemies have opened their mouth against you; They hiss and gnash their teeth. They say, "We have swallowed her up! Surely this is the day we have waited for; We have found it, we have seen it! #8221.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Oh, my threshing and the grain of my floor! That which I have heard from the LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, I have declared to you.
For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor When it is time to thresh her; Yet a little while And the time of her harvest will come.
Zechariah 12:1 - 8
The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:
Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.
Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff.
And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
In that time a present will be brought to the LORD of hosts From a people tall and smooth of skin, And from a people terrible from their beginning onward, A nation powerful and treading down, Whose land the rivers divide - To the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, To Mount Zion.
So he said, "These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.
