Idolatry Cut Off
"And i on that day, declares the Lord of hosts, k I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, so that l they shall be remembered no more. And also m I will remove from the land the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness.
And if anyone again prophesies, his father and mother who bore him will say to him, n 'You shall not live, for you speak lies in the name of the Lord.' And his father and mother who bore him shall pierce him through when he prophesies.
"On that day o every prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies. He will not put on a hairy cloak in order to deceive,
but he will say, p 'I am no prophet, I am a worker of the soil, for a man sold me in my youth.'
And if one asks him, 'What are these wounds on your back?' he will say, 'The wounds I received in the house of my friends.'

On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.
And I will cut off your carved images and your pillars from among you, and you shall bow down no more to the work of your hands.
Thus shall you say to them: "The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.
Thus says the Lord God : "I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis; there shall no longer be a prince from the land of Egypt; so I will put fear in the land of Egypt.
Pay attention to all that I have said to you, and make no mention of the names of other gods, nor let it be heard on your lips.
For the household gods utter nonsense, and the diviners see lies; they tell false dreams and give empty consolation. Therefore the people wander like sheep; they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd.
Deuteronomy 13:1 - 11
If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder.
The seers shall be disgraced, and the diviners put to shame; they shall all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God.
Then Amos answered and said to Amaziah, "I was no prophet, nor a prophet's son, but I was a herdsman and a dresser of sycamore figs.
