A Psalm of David.
v The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein,
for he has w founded it upon x the seas
and established it upon the rivers.
y Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?
And who shall stand in his z holy place?
a He who has b clean hands and c a pure heart,
who does not d lift up his soul to e what is false
and does not swear deceitfully.
He will receive f blessing from the Lord
and g righteousness from h the God of his salvation.
Such is i the generation of those who seek him,
who j seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah
k Lift up your heads, O gates!
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
that l the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, m mighty in battle!
Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
n The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah

1 Corinthians 10:26
For "the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness ...
He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved.
On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone.
When he assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters might not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
To him who spread out the earth above the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever.
And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.

Psalms 15:1 - 5
O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
"As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill."
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Isaiah 33:15 - 16
He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
He delivers even the one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.
Book Three Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
If he does not eat upon the mountains or lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, does not defile his neighbor's wife or approach a woman in her time of menstrual impurity.
I hate those who pay regard to worthless idols, but I trust in the Lord.
Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.
Genesis 22:17 - 18
I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies.
I bring near my righteousness; it is not far off, and my salvation will not delay; I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel my glory.
Thus says the Lord : "Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my deliverance be revealed.
Hide not your face from me. Turn not your servant away in anger, O you who have been my help. Cast me not off; forsake me not, O God of my salvation!
Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.
O Lord, God of my salvation; I cry out day and night before you.
There they are in great terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous.
You have said, "Seek my face." My heart says to you, "Your face, Lord, do I seek.
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
Psalms 118:19 - 20
Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.
Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in.
1 Corinthians 2:8
None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name.
Cursed be the cheat who has a male in his flock, and vows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name will be feared among the nations.
