1 Corinthians 10:9-10

Warning Against Idolatry

⁹ We must not put Christ ₁ to the test, _o as some of them did and _p were destroyed by serpents, ¹⁰ nor grumble, _q as some of them did and _r were destroyed by _s the Destroyer.
