I have a checkered denominational background - all Protestant.  My family was Lutheran when I was born, then we were Methodist for awhile, but for most of my  childhood I was Episcopalian.  Then I was nothing for awhile.  I now consider myself a Baptist, but am attending a non-denominational church.  I came to know Christ as a child, but drifted away for many years.  When I met my husband, I started going to church again and was baptized when I was 29 years old.  I have been very active in church in various capacities since that time.  My favorite calling is handbells, but I have not been able to find a group to play with.  Currently, I am a facilitator for the DivorceCare ministry at Desert Sun Church in Glendale, AZ, and help with the A/V ministry once a month.  I am a full-time caregiver for my granddaughter and love every minute of it.
