Grew up in North Texas, Presbyterian, Graduate of Paschal HS in Fort Worth, received appt to Annapolis graduating in 1953. 26 more years in the U S Navy all over the world. Became Naval Aviator flying carrier based fighters. Married an unbelievably great woman(widow of an aviator) with 2 daughters and added 3 more. We attended military chapels until I retired. Became an elder in the Presbyterian Church. Later we switched to Methodist in another town.We were very active in the church. Six months ago my wife passed away from cancer. Since then, in her memory, I have dedicated myself to truly "doing all the good I can for all the people I can".
