My name is Bob Snyder.  I am the proprietor of SnydersSoapbox.com where I review Bibles, Christian books, and write articles on Christianity.  I was a member of the Nazarene Church for many years until God, through His Spirit, and word, led me out.  Through study of the Bible, I could no longer ignore the words I had formerly despised; election, predestination, and chosen.  I had been taught that God was a gentleman, and would not come in where He was not welcomed.  I was taught that you could lose your justification, and apostatize my faith.  I was also taught a low view of sin, and God, along with a high view of man.  These things never rang true with me, but I put them to the back of my mind for a long time.  Ultimately the study of theodicy convinced me that the doctrines of grace were true.  I've been in an independent local Church that affirms the doctrines of grace, but is not a classically Reformed Church for the last number of years.
