67 yrs old, 7th gen. Texan, liberal, protestant, retired.

Oldest male child of 9.   Raised simi-poor, got a good public education and grad. From TCU.   Married 47 yrs. 4 children,   God found me one day when I was not looking.    I went to my knees and repented for things I had forgot about doing.   I know now that He had been on my heart for a long time.    I've never questioned finding Him or looked back. I have left and tried several other denominations after study and finding there were to many preaching their message ,not Christ's.
