Was in a public elementary school, but I was a problem kid who would leave anytime I felt like it.  Parents later sent me to a Bible teaching Christian school and I learned that I actually liked school.  I accepted Christ while there--and have again and again as if it didn't "take" on the first try--Later I ran with the wrong crowd and parents sent me to live with relatives out of state.  I felt a welcome there that I hadn't felt before.  I decided to become a teacher when I was in high school.  I went on to college where the subject matter was not all that hard, but it was tough for me to "behave".  
I know all the good I am is from God.  He is still working on me but I am not always so receptive to His help.  I fight Him, or so it seems, but He wins a little battle every so often.
I guess He hasn't given up on me because there are things He wants me to do for Him.  (Thank you, Lord)
