President of Senior Citizen Ministry Hopewell Baptist Church
I almost got to meet The Lord face to face on June 4th 2006. My car hydroplaned on a wet road & collided with a large oak tree. I survived a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that day. I went through months of rehab and I now live in Hampton South Carolina. I am the president and host of the Senior Citizen Ministry at Hopewell First Baptist Church (http://www.hopewellfbc.org) I also go with our pastor to a local assisted living home to do ministry for the ladies who reside there. I have also begun a prayer email ministry. When I was a student at Clear Creek Baptist college the secretary there sent "Today's Prayer" emails to students. I then took that prayer & emailed it to all of my Yahoo email contacts. My author friend Phyllis Dolislager wrote about my prayer email ministry in her new book I Pray for You on Wednesday which should be published soon. Many of my Today's Prayer emails are published throughout the book. She also invites others to join my ministry. she included my email address michaelebrown831@yahoo.com & told readers if they would like to receive prayer emails every day all they have to do is send a request to join to that address.
