Retired carpenter, father of 4, Grandfather of 14.

Raised on a small family farm, worked as a laborer in many jobs before opening my own building/remodeling company. Came to know my Lord and Savior through Vacation Bible School, but took many years to learn what that really meant in terms of how I should serve Him. I was confused by many claims and counter-claims. I have come to rely on the Bible first, and trust the spoken word only as far as I can prove it's validity by searching the scriptures. I attend regular worship services and Bible studies, am active in a men's ministry and in our church choir. I participate in an on line prayer support group, and seek to follow God's direction for my life. He leads me to be of service to those around me, whether they are believers or not, and to try to be a light to all I meet.
