I am 67 years old and was baptized as a child but came to know the Lord as an adult in about 1966 during a revival. The guest minister was Dr. James Robinson. I have three grown and married sons, six grandkids and two great-grandkids. I have attended Tyland Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas for about 26 years. I have taught Sunday School most of my adult years, about 46 of my 67 years.  I love the Lord and really try hard to live up to His expectations. I was near death last year (2012) with the West Nile Virus. During that time I had the blessed opportunity to experience just a small example of Heaven.  Now I can hardly wait until I get to go be with Him.  I am SO ready but in His own time.  Until then, I plan on doing all I can to influence and teach kids to know Jesus, come to Him and what He expects out of them as His Christian children.
