I have spent most of my life in the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), but left the part of Friends which is very uncertain about Jesus Christ and joined an unaffiliated missional church in 2005. I am now also a member of and on the Leadership Team of Friends of Jesus - Metro DC Area, a Christian Quaker group which works missionally on multiplying small groups. I have been involved in Christian renewal among Friends for decades. I have also spent a period attending a charismatic church, which was helpful in broadening my Christian understanding. I am also a graduate of the Spiritual Nurturer Program of the School of the Spirit. In addition, I do a weekly inspirational email using Bible passages from the Lectionary, which goes around the world.
