Virgin Birth can be defined as be born not of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.(John 1: 12-13).

Jesus told Nicodemus: " I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit; flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit; you should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again' (John 3: 5-7).

Virgin Birth is a matter of believing and salvation through Jesus Christ (Mark.16: 15-18).

The Virgin Birth also had been prophesied by prophet Ezekiel (Ezekiel 36: 25-32); So, the Virgin Birth is the key for salvation, man can not be saved without it.

The Bible says in Isaiah 7:14` Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us).’ Jesus Christ's birth was not a normal birth; He was born of a virgin. Jesus birth is a virgin birth. He had a woman (Mary) for his mother, but God is His Father. The virgin birth of Jesus is vitally important because of the blood. The virgin birth means there is no blood relation with his mother. This extraordinary virgin birth was necessary because this blood should be a sinless blood for the atonement of the mankind. Our plan of God is amazing. All human blood is the evolution of the Adamic sinful blood. 


The Bible is explicit that the Holy Spirit was the Divine Agent who caused Jesus' conception in the womb of Mary. This, therefore, was not a normal conception, but a supernatural act of God in planting life of His already existent Son right in the womb of Mary, with no normal conception of the male spermatozoon with the female ovum of Mary. As the Blood type of the Son of God was a separate and precious type, it is inconceivable that Mary could have supplied any of her Adamic blood for the spotless Lamb of God. The entire Child’s blood came from His father in heaven by a supernatural creative act of God. 

Therefore it can be claimed that Jesus Blood was without the Adamic stain of sin. Mary was just a courier. The only thing Mary had in her favour was that she was a virgin, hence proving her status as a “dispatch rider”. Mary is the most lucky and blessed, because of being `the vehicle’ for carrying Jesus, the son of God in her womb. She was specially chosen to carry Jesus in her womb. Therefore she has a prominent place among women (Luke 1:28). She was virgin forever. This means that she didn’t have other children and birth of Jesus was from and through the Holy Spirit and not by the physical intimacy

The beautiful thing about the virgin birth is that the incarnation so completely and logically ties salvation together. The nature of Christ's birth would not have even mattered had he not risen to sit at the right hand of the Father. And the fact that God the Father created our entire universe makes the virgin birth, to use a basketball term, a "lay up." One of the most wonderful gifts of sanctification to believers is that as we grow in our Christian faith, the virgin birth becomes more and more compelling and easier, so much easier, to believe. Someone really has to try extremely hard to doubt the virgin birth, and in the end, they fail. It is truly God's gift to us all.

Both Mary and Joseph had a place with the house of David. The Old Testament predictions showed that the Messiah would be conceived of a lady (Gen. 3:15), of the seed of Abraham (Gen. 22:18), through the clan of Judah (Gen. 49:10), and of the group of David (2 Sam. 7:12-13). Matthew's lineage followed the line through Solomon, while Luke's followed it through Nathan, another of David's children. It is worth noticing that Jesus Christ is the main Jew alive who can actually demonstrate His right to the seat of David! All of the different records were demolished when the Romans took Jerusalem in AD 70.
