No, never. Since when did the murder of an innocent life ever become acceptable. It is a horrible offence, devoid of any humanity, contrary to the life-giving nature of God. Mother Teresa echoes the commandment "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13) when she said, "If a mother can kill her own child - what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me - there is nothing between." As for doctors who perform abortion, they are worse than murderers because they turned their backs on their primary mission - to save lives. They are hypocrites who pledged to "maintain due respect for human life" (SMC Physicians' Pledge) and yet, do the opposite.
