The old testament is the image of the new Testament, Jesus came to fullfil words of Moses and prophets, The issue of the Holy Ground means the presence of God in that particular place, putting off shoes is the sign of honouring His presence, this is what we see happening spritually while still in Worship others will cry, pray in tongues, all that show honour to God putting the flash aside and speaking to God. We have the Hoy Spirit in us who helps us honour God and worship Him in truth

"Holy ground" is a metaphor. When a person comes to the intellectual perception of Who and what the Creator is, then that moment is time is referred to "holy ground" wherever that person may be. YHWH is not a God of place, but He is the God of time.

The holy ground doesn't meant anything else but the presence of the Lord. The Lord himself appeared to Joshua, near Jericho, as a strange man and as the army of the Lord commander. He demanded for Joshua to put off his shoes, for the ground he was standing on was holy, simply because the Lord presence was there. Joshua 5:13-15
