I don't believe it's possible to answer this question logically. Why? Because WE would not be who we are today if we were the first humans created. We are a long way down the line from Adam and Eve. Sin has had it's chance to work on the world for at least 4,000 years and we are the end result of that. 

The question implies that hindsight is 20/20 and we might not make the same mistake as Adam or Eve. That assumption isn't valid because the question is not "if we were transported in time back to the day Adam and Eve were created, would we make the same mistake?" If that were the case there would not have to be a test by Satan because "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" so sin would already be in the world because we are there. We would not need to Fall into sin.

The question therefore implies that we would somehow be different from Adam and Eve because we are not, obviously, the same as Adam and Eve. However, we would have been created so much like Adam and Eve that it wouldn't make any difference. That's because Ephesians 1:4 says that God's plan for the world existed way before the creation of the world. That plan included sin and a Fallen world, and a plan to deal with it in the Person of Jesus Christ.

Had God created different humans they too would have been created perfect (Deuteronomy 32:4). That being said they also would have had the freedom of choice, as did Adam and Eve. Without the freedom of choice, they merely would have been robots programmed to do what they were told. 

The freedom of choice meant that they're obedience to God would have been out of love for Him. Adam and Eve had a choice as to whether they would obey God or not, and any other human pair would have had the same choice; because God did not compel them to obey him. He did however, tell them the consequences of disobedience; they disobeyed and afterwards brought forth offspring and that's how sin entered the world through Adam. Eve was deceived however by the serpent, but she knew that her choice ran counter to Gods' explicit command not to eat from the tree of good and evil. She convinced Adam to join her therefore the both of them willfully disobeyed God. 

Now, if it was a different human pair they also would have had the freedom to whether or not to obey God. Satan would have did the same thing so would they have wanted to make choices independent of God we don't know. One thing is for certain and that is this, we weren't created to live independent of God! Recall the question Satan put before Eve? Did God indeed say that you must not eat from the tree? While Satan succeeded in creating doubt, Eve's response shows that she knew right from wrong, for she said that she wasn't even suppose to touch the tree. 

A different human pair, a different outcome? Who can truthfully say because ultimately it's speculation, but the possibility of a different outcome would exist. In my opinion only [not scripture] it boils down to love for our benevolent creator God Almighty!
