There is nothing worse than seeing women dressed inappropriately when attending church. I'm not suggesting complete head to toe cover, but skirts or dresses below the knee and modest tops so as not to accentuate her figure. There's nothing wrong in wearing good quality clothes or even designer makes, but care should be taken so as not to come over as a temptation to men who otherwise should not be tempted. Jewelry should also be modest and not a statement other than wedding or engagement rings, which signify your marital status. To much jewelry can be perceived as a statement of wealth, which could cause envy and jealousy. We as Christians need to be humble and respectful as we need to be light in a dark world where anything goes. By dressing modestly and being careful about displaying wealth (if we have any) we can reflect Jesus in our life which, after all, is what we should be doing if we are truly His.
