With awe, curiosity and a sense of wonder, as far as I'm concerned. Whenever I look at the night sky I shudder to think of my puniness in the grand scheme of things. The idea of a black hole is awesome! I love reading articles and watching videos on this phenomena. If they exist as astronomers believe, then great. If they don't...oh well. As with anything God has created, treat it with respect and wonder but don't worship it. Look at a black hole as one of God's really cool creations. That's what I do anyway...

Science and Faith cannot contradict each other, why? Because they flow from the same source - God. Through faith, we believe everything (including black holes) are created by God. Through science, we explain how everything is created by God. The Roman Catholic Church has been a major sponsor of astronomy. Because of this, we have the Vatican Observatory and the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope. Copernicus, who was the first person to put the sun at the center of the solar system, was a Catholic clergyman. The reason we can study these things is because we believe all creation is intelligently created. All creation displays the stamp of a creator.
