How much time passed from the moment that God told Adam to go and be fruitfull, to the moment that he ate the fruit?

The honest answer is that Scripture doesn't tell us and therefore we don't know. 

I think about the only thing that we can be certain of is that they had not yet had any children. 

Could have been a day, could have been 1,000 years. 

Just like we don't know how much time passed after Adam was created that the Lord decided to create Eve. We do know that Adam at least was alone during the time it took him to name all the animals. That in itself could have taken a bit of time.
