The bible says he who speaks in an unknown tongue speaks to God not to men 1corinthians14:2. satan doesn't understand tongues. Praying or speaking in tongues is a gift given to us by God through His Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 declares the wisdom of God which was hidden and that the rulers of this age do not understand because had they understood they would not have crucified the King of Glory. The scripture goes on to say, no eye has seen nor ear has heard what God has prepared for those who love him. Vs 10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit or His Spirit for no man can know a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person even so no one can comprehend God's thoughts except His Spirit and we have not received the Spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God that we may understand the things freely given to us. The Spirit comes to stay in a clean place. One which has been cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. satan doesn't have the Spirit of God hence he can't understand the language. Hallelujah.
