“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time…” (1Tim 2:5-6). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can reach the Father except through Jesus (John 14:6). Scripture does teach that denial of Jesus and who He is to remain in sin and it is a direct ticket to eternal condemnation (John 8:24-26). Jesus is the light of the world and to seek to avoid Him is to remain blind and to be condemned (John 3:19). 

There is a lot more scriptural empirical evidence that Jesus is the Mediator between men and God. It isn't therefore simply a wish or saying that He is. But then; why is Jesus the only Mediator between man and God? Can’t we create another way how to reach to God? Is God so much limited? Is it mere say, that Jesus is the only Mediator between men and God? How does scripture go about this? Even John the Baptist wondered if Jesus was the one (Matt 11:2-3). Yet Jesus is the only acceptable sacrifice and there isn't anymore (Heb 10:26).

So, in all this, we seek for all empirical evidence if Jesus is so (the only Mediator). And scripture is one of the surest ways to deal with any doubt or ambiguity that be. As that, all that is about Jesus is so crucial.

The blood of Jesus is pure, He never sinned. There could have been as many sacrifices, yet Jesus’ exceptionally stands out. In it, there is enough power to holistically heal and set free. No one is not a sinner and no one is inexcusable (Rom 2:1-3, 3:23). That the first man (Adam) sinned, it extends to all who are his offspring. A sinner couldn’t heal a sinner. All we see are self proclaimed great men and women of God, but who could never offer themselves in the form that Jesus did. Importantly to note, no human had the means to. Enoch was carried alive to heaven for walking well with God, yet being a mere mortal man, he could only save his soul. 

Jesus suffered scorn, beating, spat upon, and did not retaliate, despite having all the means and the power to do so. Nobody else would have stood that much humiliation (given the power and means Jesus had), and wouldn’t have retaliated. Jesus always spoke with authority and confidence (John 8:46). Who else could? Even at the time of His conviction for crucifixion, there was no proven justifiable case against Jesus (Mark 15:6-15), (John 19:12-16), (Matt 27:24). Jesus proved Himself worthy, and He was also proven of God and men. Those who opposed and continue to oppose Him only do so for no sound reason. No one can tell you the wrong for which they would hate Jesus. The devil will hate anything of God!

Jesus gave us unprecedented assurances (John 14:1-6). Nobody else has ever done. I was a Muslim; we had no any such assurances as the ones we get when we come to Jesus. The assured promise of everlasting life is in Jesus (John 3:36, 11:25-26). Others may be tempted to promise as well, but they have none in the substance that Jesus is. Themselves are found in very weak positions and wanting in entire areas. The “prophet” Muhammad of Islam, when his time of death had come, he was asked by his followers what they had to do now that he was going to die. This is what he had to say; “…I don’t know what will happen to me as well…” But even on the cross, Jesus was still in position to save, to love, and give assured promises (Luke 23:43). 

Jesus did not only meet the requirements of a truly acceptable sacrifice, in Him were the ingredients which perfectly matched the required sacrifice. Yet it was not only about what was required, it was much about Him as a person. Jesus was/is; all holy, all righteous, all loving, all caring, all willing, all committed, all humble, all knowledgeable, all bearing, and all missionary. The perfectness of His priceless sacrifice makes Him the only assured Mediator between man and God. That Jesus is therefore the only Mediator between men and God is not a wish, but an empirical fact.
