Respect comes in many different views.Yes all that call themselves Christian, even those with little righteousness should understand that we are all to become children of God. Even sparing the rod can many times spoil the child in many ways during their parenting as we are all accountable and responsible to Christian views and living. Like Solomon said better is a little with faith than great revenue without right. So becoming like a child of God is good for all.
