Was Jesus in the wilderness or at the wedding in Cana three days after His baptism?

Did the wedding at Cana take place after Jesus had returned from His 40 days in the wilderness and three days after He called the disciples as described in John 1:35–51 and John 2:1

Mark 1:9 - 13

John's gospel opens with "In the beginning", evoking the Genesis' Creation narrative. John then proceeds to count days. "The next day" John 1, verse 29, "The next day" verse 35, "The next day" verse 43.

John 2:1 continues the count "On the third day" from previous day, which is the 4th day. And just like in the Creation story, there is a wedding on that 7th day.

John then tells us of the stone jars that were used for ceremonial washing. Ceremonial washing is done on the 3rd and 7th day. John, in his story telling, carefully placed this wedding on both the 3rd and 7th day.
