God is Triune, ----Father, Son, Holy Spirit. God is one part of the Trinity. In creation there were all aspect of the Trinity. In Genesis 1:26 "And God said "Let us make man".---us refers to more than One. In th New
Testament Jesus spoke of His exsistence before He came to earth---in John 8:58 He said before Abraham He was. On His ascenscion Jesus said He would send the Comforter (The Holy Spirit) and He send He who existed to lead, correct, and each us.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." John 1: 1, 2

The answer to this question is in I Cor. 8:6:
"But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything and we live for him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom God made everything and through whom we have been given life" (NLT).

While the Father created all, the "proximate" Creator was YHVH ELOHIM translated as 'Lord God' in Genesis 2 and generic 'Elohim' in Genesis 1. It was through him (Col.1:16) that the Father created all. This YHVH ELOHIM was also called LOGOS (the Word Creator) in John 1, who incarnated into Jesus. He was called WORD, as he created things just by the power of his word, as in "God said" and it happened.
