Can health problems also be demonic attacks?

A friend has so many health problems that he says it must be demonic attack. Can this be scripturally correct?

James 1:17 makes clear, John, that every good and perfect gift comes only from God. So the answer regarding the source of all the positive things that occur in a Jesus Follower's life seems to be clear.

Additionally, an all-powerful and loving God can strike a Jesus Follower with sickness and disease, if He so chooses, to accomplish His purposes in the lives of all those involved.

Ephesians 6:10-12 likewise makes clear that many of the problems Jesus Followers struggle against can be tracked back to demonic forces.

Jesus Followers debate whether Satan and/or his forces can create anything, including sickness and disease.

Many would agree, however, that diabolical forces can manipulate people and circumstances to result in major or minor health problems.

But, to blame all sickness on demonic forces probably is specious.

Whatever the source of sickness and disease another truth is clear. Nothing can touch us that doesn't first pass through our loving, heavenly Father's fingers.

The context of 1 Corinthians 10:13 is temptation. The Greek for the word translated that way in this Scripture can also mean 'trial', as the passage is correctly paraphrased in The Message. And what trial have you experienced, including sickness, which hasn't caused you to be tempted to sin.

So regardless of whether the source of disease/sickness is from God, the demonic, or natural forces, every true Jesus Follower can take joy in God's presence in it with us plus His way through it which He promises in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Blessings all!

John in spite what some people say which is scripturally unfounded or just regurgitated from some other person about sickness being from God or God punishing them with sickness the bible is clear where sickness comes from. Lets examine some areas;
1. We don't take care of our bodies. I am a first responder and see this a lot. People who know they need to do certain things yet still don't and thus we go to their homes often.
2. Some things are just genetic or if you believe in generational curses this can fall into that category. This is a little harder to prove scripturally but can be proven though many do not or will not subscribe to this.
3. John 10:10 The thief (devil) comes to kill still and destroy, Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly
Act 10 48 Jesus healed all those who were oppressed of the devil.

So, people can fall into 1 of the 3 categories or perhaps there are others. But I will say and stand on is that God NEVER makes people sick.

Yes, and I believe most illnesses come as a result of the foods we consume. Daniel's diet is different from the way most people eat. The enemy is the master of worldly suggestions. He is a pervert. God gave us good food and the enemy perverted it.

Some health problems came from demonic attack, like in book of Job, or some of the diseases & insanities which Jesus Christ & Apostles healed.
Spiritual demons can afflict diseases on people, especially those who are not God-followers. They can inhabit the bodies of human beings & take -control of their lives, like driving you crazy [from burden, unpeaceful daily lives]; or give evil thoughts of self-suicide, killing or doing harm to other human beings, etc.

Human habitated by demons might think of ways to produce evil toxicities from any substance, being advised by demonic spirits to target other humans with illness. Some humans with deranged minds could have acute spiritual discernment and see clearly human life deeds. That`s why deranged minds can accurately tell you your sins in God standard. The human minds deranged from demon destruction, but spiritual visions sets in.

Some signs an illness is demonic of origin is when a disease cannot be easily diagnosed by medical doctors & etiology; when the disease/sickness is to severe for the known cause; when the condition of a patient greatly deteriorates without physical evidences, such as a physical exam or laboratory results, showing a grave seriousness of disease; or is a serious malady seen but incurable by physicians treatment.

To be safe from demonic destruction, follow & call only God`s name to accompany you every second of your life, so no demonic spirit can get in your body, soul & spirit. Trust God to keep you safe & protect your life.

Don`t be afraid to those who [demon or satanist] can destroy you in flesh [like Job], but fear God [the Creator] who can do anything [burn you for eternity] to your body, soul & spirit.

Demon is an evil/unholy//unclean spirit(Luke 4:33; 8:27), who inhabits the unclean environment, unclean water, sanitation and unclean spirit/behavior of human being.

Human knowledge in medical science told that the uncleanness causes many kind of diseases to people, physically and spiritually; and God Himself commanded all of God's people to live a holy life:" Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy" (Leviticus 19-25).

So, health problems can be demonic attacks, when people lose their immunity because of their violation to God's commands.
