The Israelites did battle with the Philistines. They had at least one giant, Goliath. However, with the help of Yahveh, David took him out. 1 Sam 17:45-46

Scriptures, also, noted that there were giants in the land in Jericho when the 10 spies were sent to scout out the land. Numbers 13@ 14.

We learned that the Israelites never removed out all the inhabitants of the land of Canaan that Yahveh warned them to.

"And the Lord was with Judah, and he took possession of the hill country, but he could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain because they had chariots of iron."
Judges 1

Therefore, because of migration, there could still be giants in the Earth that resemble big foot, etc.
