Should counselors who are Christian (Christ like) suggest or accept payment?

Should counselors who are Christ like suggest payment for their work for individual counseling sessions when ‘session by session’ donations are, in actuality, implied fees?

My opinion is that they are providing you with a service. You would pay a doctor or a pyscologist for their services,so why would you not pay a counselor for their service just because they are Christian? The fact that they are asking for a donation instead of sending a bill seems like generosity on their part. So yes I would say that they should be paid for the services they render.
