How can I develop genuine love for everyone without any hypocrisy whatsoever?

Romans 12:9 - 21

KJV - 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.

Hi Marco, unfortunately it is not possible to genuinely love/serve our neighbor without any hypocrisy. Not only is it impossible, but Christians are not expected to do this. The good news is that there is One who did serve and love His neighbor perfectly and without hypocrisy. Jesus fulfilled the requirement, met the demand and paid the penalty for our inability and unwillingness to live up to the standards of God. Now we are free from the burdon of trying to appear like we are pulling it off.

So love your neighbor, serve them knowing you will fail but these failures are not counted against you. If someone calls you a hypocrite, agree with them then point them to the cross, to the Savior who paid for our sins so that all who believe may not perish but have everlasting life.

Mini Bob Rutz Jesus loves me.
God is love. In the original Greek, the word for God-love is agape. We can't cook up this kind of love on our own. We can spend our lives trying to fake it, but what a waste of time!

But how in the world can I learn to even love myself, in order to love my neighbor as myself as God commands?

The short answer is by hanging out with Jesus continuously, talking to His Father as a little child would, saying anything... He delights in you surprising Him. If you think there are taboo things to say, just read a few of the Psalms and see what David got away with saying to God!

The main problem is Satan will continuously try to convince you that you are a failure, you are unworthy of His love, you just blew it for the 491st time, etc. The only way to counteract this is to write down/memorize everything in God's Word that says what God says about you, just like Jesus did. That will drive The Enemy off every time!

God looks at His final, finished product, His Bride. By treating us like sons, heirs, His Bride, He makes us so!

Agape, God-love, is one of those Rivers of Living Water Jesus spoke of in John 7:38. Why waste your life on all kinds of studies, trainings, seminars, etc. Trying to pretty up your old nature, when He wants to pour His Rivers of love, light, life, grace, peace, and many more through you as you abide in/hang out with Him?

Love willingly as you can, and ask God to do the rest, what do you think he will do?

Also, I don't view Gods love as something that depends on emotions. It,s spiritual force that flows from our entire being. Don't judge sincerity of your love by the emotions you get because Satan will make you think you should be sincere, and hence not love anyone!

How can I develop a genuine love for everyone without any hypocrisy whatsoever?

Hi, Marco. Great question and one that I need to work on, too! I would say that the passage you chose yourself would help to answer your question.
Develop genuine love for everyone without any hypocrisy by being sincere (Romans 12:9a), discerning (Rom. 12:9b), showing tender loving care--TLC (Rom 12:10), honoring others (Ro. 12:10b), being enthusiastic--show others your zeal and joy (Ro 12:11-12; esp. Ro 12:11), being patient (Ro 12:12), generous – share with your friends (Ro 12:13a), pursue (show) hospitality (Ro 12:13b), show kindness to your foes (Ro 12:14), showing sympathy, mourning and weeping with your friends (Ro 12:15), living in harmony with them (Ro 12:16a), and showing humility (Ro 12:16b).
