Is it right for a Christian to say that Christ died for them?
"I have given them your world; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I AM not of the world." John 17:14
John 3:16
KJV - 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

My opinion yes it is right. Its your faith that leads you to say that Christ died for you. He died for the world as seen in John 3:16 and he chose you among many other to be saved.
