Theology is the study of God, very basically. It takes what God has revealed to man through scripture and tradition, and studies them. Spirituality is the practice of living out a personal act of faith following the acceptance of faith. Spirituality, therefore, follows Theology because its practices are derived from what is defined as truth through the systematic and rational study of what was revealed.
