How can we let peace and joy stay in our hearts, as Christians?
I understand that being a Christian, one will have peace and joy. However, I am always feeling down. It seems the only way I solve my problem is to cry. I don't have many friends. I feel lonely. My son even prayed for me, "Jesus, please take away mama sadness and put peace and joy in her heart." I just don't understand why, but I'll cry always.

Dear, please see your family doctor about this. I am not a professional but it sounds like something is going on that needs treatment. If your doctor can not (or will not) help, visit your community mental health clinic. Bless you, you seem to have great faith. Joy and peace will come, but sometimes we need the resources He provides in this life and the help of others.

Firstly, the bible speaking in Romans 15:13 tells us that peace and joy comes by the in filling of the holy spirit...if u are not yet baptised in the holy ghost, I advice you to do that,also try forgiving your father for the hurt he caused you mom...forgiveness brings peace...finally tell it all to God in prayer...let Jesus be your personal psychiatrist...let His peace that surpasses all understanding be birthed in you...don't look up to ur husband for joy and peace....look up to Jesus. Stay blessed.
