My husband and I were separated 14 years ago. We reconciled after 18 months and have a stronger marriage for it. Both you and your spouse need to commit yourselves to God and then develop a relationship with Him through Christ, the Bible and prayer. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 NIV Give all your burdens over to The Lord, He is the ultimate healer. "Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens" Psalm 68:19 NIV "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" Psalm 147:3 Find a Christian marriage counsellor you both trust. Renew your commitment to each other - it doesn't have to be a grand gesture such ad renewing your vows, it can be small ones like going on a date or writing your spouse a note to tell them you love them. A book that help us was " Hope for the Separated: Wounded Marriages Can Be Healed" by Gary Chapman God Bless You
