So often the Christian testimony and shared gospel is lost due to the failure of our walk with Christ in this life. People around us outwith the Church circles observe our daily lives and how we behave. They say to themselves and others, look there they go into Church on a Sunday but go out and do wrong during the week. We easily become a block to those who are seeking God.
We sin on a daily basis and although we are never perfect we need to ask the Holy Spirit to prompt us when we are sinning. This will help us lead a Christ like lifestyle and which will in turn encourage others to salvation.
I have witnessed this first hand in our Church where the attitudes and behaviour of members which is witnessed by those who use the Church on a weekly basis. The comments are "some Christian they are, that remark was uncalled for" and in one fell swoop the unbeliever is put off coming to Church.
We need to stop and think is my life a reflection of Jesus if not pray for guidance and do something about it, read Proverbs its Gods word and beneficial to a believers behaviour.

Proverbs opening verses are very helpful.

1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:

2 for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to those who are simple,[a]
knowledge and discretion to the young—
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.[b]
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools[c] despise wisdom and instruction.

The conduct of a Christian is the number one visible thing that the unbelieving world sees in a Christian. It is also the main witness of a Christian to an unbeliever. The second most important witness is what Jesus Christ commanded us to do, and that is "To go into your neighborhood, to your city and to the utmost countries of the world and spread His Gospel so that all people will hear His Word and come to Him for the assurance of Eternal Life. You as God's representative has to show how you were changed from being worldly to being Christ like with the help of the Holy Spirit living in you.

Mini Frederick Thomas Rom 3:4 ...let God be true...
Mad, foolish, senseless, false and confusion
1Co 14:23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?
1Co_14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

1Co 14:11 If then I do not grasp the meaning of what someone is saying, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and he is a foreigner to me.
2Ti_4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
Tit_2:8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Tit_1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

among people. Thus, we may say that nature demands

Dont do things that are shameful
Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

Dont do things that make you look like a mad person.
1Co_14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
Dont do things thats against nature-there is principals in life
Rom_1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
1Co_11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair(except for other reasons elsewhere in scripture), it is a shame unto him? 1 Corinthians 11:14
Hear nature, common sense, and reason,
Doth not even nature itself - The word nature (φύσις phusis) denotes evidently that sense of propriety which all men have, and which is expressed in any prevailing or universal custom. That which is universal we say is according to nature. It is such as is demanded by the natural sense of fitness
Dont act like a fool- look wise and speak wise
Tit_2:8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Pro 17:28 Even a fool when he holds his peace is considered wise; when he closes his lips he is esteemed a man of understanding.

Dont scream like you crazy or been strangled-make a JOYFUL noise unto the Lord
Psa_66:1 To the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm. MAKE A joyful noise unto God, all the earth;

Dont play false- play skillfully
Psa 33:3 Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound.
1Co 14:7 If musical instruments--flutes, say, or harps--aren't played so that each note is distinct and in tune, how will anyone be able to catch the melody and enjoy the music?
1Co 14:8 And if the war bugle gives an uncertain (indistinct) call, who will prepare for battle?

All this matters and is expected of us not to appear mad, foolish, senseless, false and confused to the world.
