The Doctrine of Trinity is not easily understood mainly because we lack the ability to completely comprehend God. We love to put God "in a box" in the sense that we seek to understand Him in our own terms.

If you were a fish, you would evaluate the world through the "eyes" of a fish. That is to say, everything has to somehow be related to water. But imagine a fish trying to understand the world beyond the water, and beyond that to air, and beyond that to outer-space? How would a fish understand sea, land, air and space, when the only world it knows is water?

This much is the case when we try to understand God in our own limited human understanding.

The Bible tells us that Jesus was with us from the beginning and he is God.

John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

It did not say God the Father created Jesus. It just says Jesus was Him from the beginning.

John 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

One can speculate that perhaps God split himself so that one version came down to Earth while the other stayed in heaven. Therefor "Son of God" made sense in terms of Jesus' relationship to God the Father. But this is just pure speculation. The reality is, the Bible is shy on details.

But what the Bible does say is, there is ONE God and He is manifested in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. One God existing in three separate and distinct persons, who can interact with one another (Matthew 3:16-17). Given that God is omnipresent (able to be in all places at the same time), this is entirely conceivable.

The most important thing to realize is, Jesus is not a *created* being. He is not a god, that is, one of many. There is only ONE God. God the Father did not create him. Jesus is God from the beginning. For more information on the Doctrine of Trinity see the following:

It might help to know that the word ELOHIM is a plural noun, that is the word used in genesis "In the beginning Elohim..." Do you remember the angels seraph, cherub were singular and what makes them plural is the letters "im". seraphim and cherubim. "EL" is singular and ELOHIM is plural. I always use the egg as an explanation. In an egg you have the shell, the white and the yoke, which part is not the egg.? A dozen aggs is "one" dozen. Jesus only mentioned three, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit in the GOD HEAD. If the simple egg can be three in one then it would not give GOD any trouble at all. It means that they all have the same essence. H20 etc.

The Nicene Creed clearly expresses what we believe - that the Father begat (not create) the Son, therefore, shares his divinity.

"I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made."

Jn 3:27 says (KJV) John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. This is what I received FROM HEAVEN. ("WORD IS FATHER").Let’s look at the definition of the word Father: (From Easton’s Bible Dict.)
(1.) A name applied to any ancestor
(2.) As a title of respect to a chief, ruler, or elder, etc.
(3.) The author or beginner of anything is also so called Father
(4.) Applied to God who is (Jesus)

Webster’s Dictionary:
a) The male parent, or ancestor.
b) An originator
c) The OLDEST member of a community.
d) To be the FATHER of.
e) To fix the ORIGINAL responsibility for.
Gen 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
This shows that The Father is the one Responsible for an act.
Father is a position, a place of authority, one who is RESPONSIBLE for: Who was Responsible for CREATING EVERYTHING, JESUS was! Jesus’ WORDS are the “FATHER” or the means by which ALL things were brought into existence!
God runs His kingdom with “HIS WORDS”. That’s the ONLY way you got born FROM ABOVE, (again). This is the only way you can get into God’s Kingdom
-- King James 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. Now we can better understand --
KJV John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: It takes God’s POWER to separate your SOUL from the spirit you were born with and to give you HIS SPIRITUAL BODY.
- Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Heb 4:12 ERV) God's word is alive and working. It is sharper than the sharpest sword and cuts all the way into us. It cuts deep to the place where the soul and the spirit are joined

We ARE the BODY of Christ.
In summary: Jesus is The Creator; He created everything by speaking “WORDS”. The “WORDS” that He Spoke is the originator of everything that came into being. No words, nothing happens. Jesus is the author of the Bible; He is also the Author of Isaiah 9:6 which He states that a child would be born,
His title will be “The Mighty God” ---
“The Everlasting FATHER”! Jesus spoke those word 732 years before He became what He spoke!
And “THE WORD” was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (word is Father)! Jesus said in -- John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
In John 14:9 Jesus said, “He that hath seen ME hath seen THE FATHER”. “THE WORD IS FATHER”. Jesus is God; the words that He speaks have the power in them to do whatever He commands.

Mary Receives THE FATHER
Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ (Jesus The Annointed) was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Mat 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Mat 1:23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."

God is a Spirit - Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The Father is a Spirit - Joh_15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

The Word is Spirit. - Joh_6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
