Can a Christian take a house loan?



      

Deuteronomy 28:12

ESV - 12 The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

Deuteronomy 28 refers to the blessings of God when you as a believer follow his commandments. "You shall not borrow" is not another (human made) rule, but God is saying that He will look after and provide for you, in order that you will have enough to lend to others.
