Does the Bible instruct us to pray through Jesus to God or to God directly or both?

Based on the following passages I believe the Bible teaches that we pray to The Father in the name of our great High Priest, The Lord Jesus Christ. In John 16: Christ is telling the disciples about leaving them, his ascension and the Comforter that will come. In verses 23-27 "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God." Hebrews 4:14-16 " Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. "

ROMANS 8:26-27 states "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will" To me, this indicates that we should pray to God not only through Jesus Christ but also through the Holy Spirit.

John 14 : verses 13 and 14 are crystaly clear on this aspect,"He that ask anything in my name I will do it to glorify the father". Jesus is in the father and if we accept and love Jesus we automatically accept and love our Heavenly father.We are dead hidden with Christ in God - Colosisans 3:2.According to me we should pray to Jesus and the Father will respond by works,see John 14 :10.
