No, baptism in and of itself will not save anyone from demonic oppression. Baptism is meant to be a public declaration of one's salvation and commitment to live for Jesus, and it is an important and significant step for a sincere Christian. However, the ritual of baptism without the saving power of Christ and the Holy Spirit working in one's life has no power of its own.

The good news is that in Christ, we are safe from the attacks of the enemy and his minions. Luke 10:17-20 says,

The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”

18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Notice verse 20 in particular: I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Similarly, Romans 8 says this:

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our faith and life in Christ are what save us from any and all attempts from the enemy to attack us in any way. In addition, John 1 tells us that Jesus IS the Word of God, and the Word of God has power to overcome the enemy. Revelation 12 says,

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.

In other words, our own testimony--supported by the Word of God--is able to overcome demonic attacks against us. Jesus used the Word of God to fight back against Satan when he tried to tempt Him; we can do the same.

Holy Spirit baptism, yes. Baptism in water, no. The former is the Spiritual manifestation of God in your life. The latter is a ritual dating back to the Old Testament. If you want to get baptized in water, that's OK. Just don't believe that it has any saving or protective value.

Water baptism is an instruction from Jesus Christ, who Himself, was baptized. Matt 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him (John the baptist), "Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him". If we believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and we receive Him is the Lord of our lives, He says that we must be baptized.

Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned..... We can either be obedient to Christ the living Word, or do and reason as the apostate church which has allowed all manner of human doctrine to become their false gospel as it satisfies their itchy ears.
