The Judgment Seat is not a judgment, as we understand it to be in usual terms. It is unfortunate that the Bible translators used that term.

It is actually an "appearance" before Jesus Himself. We will have to account for our ACTIONS, MOTIVES, THOUGHTS, etc, all the way back to the moment we were saved until the moment we die or are raptured. The Bible tells us that we will have to give account for everything done in the body (NOT SINS! JESUS TOOK THOSE FROM US, PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE, AT THE CROSS!) We will have to account for everything whether it be "good or bad." You're still in heaven, and you will stay in heaven during and after the judgment, you are saved. You and I will lose some of the rewards God has for us for those things we did on earth that were not motivated by love and service to God and man.

Study the "Judgment Seat of Christ." It is not for punishment, it is for rewards for witnessing to others about our Savior, giving others the chance to receive Him as Savior and to follow Him as Lord. Your eternal security became secure the precise split-second you accepted Jesus as your Savior. You are not about to be punished when you appear before Him. Accept His wonderful gift of Amazing Grace for all who believe. Rejoice that after you hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant; enter in to your rest," that you will be in His Presence and in the presence of loved ones who have gone before. Perhaps if He comes soon you and they will all be caught up to meet Him in the Rapture of the church. Hallelujah!

Praise to God for His Son who has shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins. Hebrews 9:24-28...and just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, NOT TO DEAL WITH SIN but BUT TO SAVE THOSE WHO ARE EAGERLY WAITING FOR HIM. 

The Apostle Paul should not be thought to have run a muck on this topic nor should John. Salvation is by grace alone; by faith alone. Judgment is a hard teaching to understand for its darkness/ambiguity; yet Justice will be mete out for ALL nations - according to the Bible - Revelation 20:12, 13 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing in front of the throne. And books were opened; and so was another book--namely, the Book of Life; and the dead were JUDGED BY THE THINGS RECORDED IN THE BOOKS IN ACCORDANCE WITH WHAT THEIR CONDUCT HAD BEEN.The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each one was JUDGED ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.

Paul - Second Corinthians 5:10 For we must all of us appear before Christ's judgement-seat in our true characters, in order that each may then RECEIVE AN AWARD FOR HIS ACTIONS IN THIS LIFE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH WHAT HE HAS DONE, WHETHER IT BE GOOD OR WHETHER IT BE WORTHLESS.

Unfortunately people assume that a mere acknowlege Jesus Christ is the Son of God justifies living life like a heathen and they are 'saved'.

I have met multiple dozens of people who are committing adultery, fornication, lying, cheating and breaking all the Commandments because they think a few baseless words is all they need to do to live a corrupt life, never pray, never wept or expressed sorrow or meditated about the & anguish, over the horrendous suffering He must face to take our sins upon Himself

Can you imagine the humiliation and pain He felt when the people who followed him for years in hope for political reasons, free food, profound preaching about God. It was also humiliating to see those who wanted to shut Him up obtain their evil desires.

They stripped Christ of his clothing and and lashed him with whips; how those cruel men showed him no mercy.

Next they had to mock and humiliate by weaving a crown of thorns, dressing him a king's robe, blindfolding Him challenging Christ to name who struck him in the face. This was all done for all present to see and to satisfy their thirst for our Savior's blood and crucifixion.

Pilate was a coward and released a criminal instead of doing what was the right thing to do. That hateful crowed would stop at nothing until they saw Christ crucified. (sort of like the world today who hates all that Christ stood for and sadly we in the U.S.have too often opted for breaking God's law for gain or political correctness.

They were merciless when they threw that cross upon his shoulders and lashed him when He fell. They only gave him help when they thought He would die before granting their ultimate by nailing Him to a Cross. More pain and humiliation.

Do you really think that a mere few words with or without sincerity and no resolve to repent of sin will do?

"Be not deceived, God is not mocked".

II Corinthians 5:10
It is a shame that judgment has pretty much died in the church. Those who believe in an age of grace seem to have left off faith. We MUST have evidence of our faith.

We are saved by grace through faith. Neither one alone. If I take out judgment and say appear before Christ's seat and I lose my reward because I did bad is that not a judgment to me? Wake up church, to love (agape - Romans 13:8-14 - end of age prophesy) and to righteousness (I Corinthians 15:34 - to their shame). Paul doubted the Corinthians faith (6-12 years between first and second Cor.) because they had no fruit of the Spirit (II Cor 12:19-13:5) the way we see here and now who is approved by God (I Cor 11:19). The church needs to take a second look at the Lord's Supper, instead of arguing because servants of God never argue (fruit? - II Timothy.2:24).
Paul also doubted the salvation of the Galatians i.e. being born-again. In Galatians 4:19 Paul makes it clear that God declares Christians born-again only AFTER they produce the fruit of the Spirit i.e. "Christ is formed in me."

What did Jesus mean when he said when we are grafted into the vine and we are without fruit the Father cuts us off (John 15:1-2)?

Brothers and sisters the judgment of the house of God is at hand and Peter tells us the righteous are scarcely (I Peter 4:17-18).

Do you have your evidence ready for your court appearance?

Paul warned us all we could take the Lord's Supper in an unworthy manner by not discerning the Lord's body we would be damned with the world. The judge will not allow us to explain the truth away with our seminary degrees telling Him what a passage really means.
