All people can be saved, though not everyone will be saved. II Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentence. Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. All of humanity is in the same boat. We are all born with an inherited sinful nature in need of forgiveness that can only be provided through Christ. John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way the turth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." Salvation is given to those who recognize their sin, accept the atoning work of Christ on the cross, and ask for His forgiveness. Salvation comes by grace, through faith, and not by works.

Salvation has zero to do with being charitable. Salvation is by God's Amazing Grace through our faith ---- and even the faith to believe is instilled by Him. Nothing can be added to Romans 10:8-13. It is HIS Righteousness that is imparted to us ---- we have no Righteousness in and of ourselves or based upon our deeds. It is entirely Spiritual.

Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls. Acts 2:21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Notice "everyone". Whoever calls on the name of the Lord WILL be saved. Colossians 3:11 says "Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all." It makes no difference who you are. God is capable of forgiving you no matter how much you once sinned 1 John 1:9. The gift of Jesus Christ is open to all. And everyone needs it. Romans 3:23-26 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Simply put, the righteous will be saved - and one becomes righteous by being charitable. At the end of time, the Son of Man will come and separate mankind as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. He will say to those on his right, "Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Then the righteous will ask, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" He will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Then he will say to those on his left, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me." They also will ask, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?" He will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me." The unrighteous will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

It is the only way we can be saved Romans 4:5 Ephesians 2:8-9 Salvation is by believing that when Jesus went to the cross He died just for me and you. He took the penalty of all our sin so that we would not have to go to hell to pay for them. We believe in our heart that Jesus, is God in the flesh, that He lived a sinless life, He died to take the sins of the whole world, (to them that believe) so that we would not have to go to hell to pay for them, and then rose again on the third day proving who He said He was. No one else has ever raised themselves from the dead. He did it all for us just because He loves us so much. It is all by grace, and nothing we do or can do. He is our only savior and we accept it as a free gift. We did nothing for it, and can do nothing for it. (our works) When we accept Jesus as our only savior, we receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit that seals us to the day of redemption. We are justified sinners by faith alone. Since we have the spirit of God in us, he says He will never cast us out. We can never be lost. John 6:37-40 If we add our works, what we do, to the gospel we will be accursed along with those that preach it. Galatians 1:8-9 No one can earn salvation by what they do. We can only be saved by what Jesus did for us. For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life. First John 1:8 says, if we say we have no sin, the truth is not in us. We are all sinners and can only be saved by the finished work of Christ by faith alone. Not by what we do or do not do. (our works) We are saved the same way Abraham was. Romans 4:1-8 Abraham believed God, and it was counted to Him for righteousness. He had done nothing yet but just believe. He had nothing to glory in because it was not by what He did but by Gods grace. Our sins can no more be imputed to us because they were all paid for when Christ took the penalty of them on the cross in our place. We can no longer go to hell because we have no more sins to pay for because He paid the price for us that we could not pay. God gets all the glory for saving us sinners, and we get heaven instead of hell. If there was any other way to be saved, then Jesus died in vain. But He did not die in vain, because many have been washed in the blood of the lamb. Jesus. All who put their faith in Jesus are saved and have eternal life. We can never be separated from the love of God as a child of Him who saved us by grace. We are justified freely by His grace and mercy. It is the good news of the gospel of all grace. First John 5:13

My opinion is different from others. Let me first say that I agree we are all saved by the grace of God through faith. Further, I believed we are all saved by the shedding of Christ's blood. In order for us to come into contact with that blood we must be baptized (immersed in water) and raised up in the likeness of Christ. Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38 NASB) We are baptized FOR the forgiveness of our sins. If we are merely saved by faith alone then we would be saved in a sinful state, we must be baptized to wash away those sins first. You can't take one verse alone as in the case of "faith alone." You must accept all scripture and there are far to many that mention baptism. Simply read the book of Acts. Every example of salvation includes baptism first. Just my viewpoint on the subject and not looking for a debate. In Christian love.

Acts 16:30-31, says believe or trust or have faith in The Lord Jesus and you shall be saved. Broken down to the simplest form, this verse didn't require anything but faith that involves belief or trust in Jesus Paul said in 1Corinthians 1:17, he didn't come to preach anything but Jesus The Christ and His cross work and it's power. What kind of power? Power to bring salvation (Romans 1:16), not to baptize or suggest any other Way except The Way of The Cross. So salvation is by faith in God's Way, not by the way of works.

This answer is for the merged question" Anybody can be saved by faith alone'? The question is somewhat not clear about what salvation does it refer to. First we must discipline our selves when it comes to the word of God from the Apostle Paul (1Corinth 4:6) "And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. Nowhere from the scriptures written that faith alone saves.Theres so much to consider when it comes to salvation. In one of verse of the scriptures it states that Ephesians 2:8(For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: saved through faith...we should noticed that the "saved" is in the past tense form. Saved from where? If we take a look from verse 1 to 7,we will find what salvation the author meant to.(And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worked in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. It is true by grace we are saved through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are saved according to Ephesians 2, saved from (course of this world and the power of the air or darkness that boundeth, lust of the flesh). We just need faith to have this salvation from the power of darkness. But after we are saved from the power of the darkness, is it enough for us Christian to be idle. That you just need faith and that's all?.Of course not, let the scriptures be our guide. If we continue to Ephesians 2:10 "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. After we are enlighten from darkness we should walk through the righteous/ good works that God hath ordained for us. After we escape the corruption/darkness that is in the world. FAITH is not enough according to 2 PETER 1:4-12 "Add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; to temperance patience; to patience godliness; to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. This will prove that faith alone is not enough. Proving further in 1Corinthians 13:2 "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. Even if you have all the faith and have not love/charity you are nothing. Conclusion: Aside from FAITH Christians must do good works that God hath ordained to walk through to obtain salvation. Faith without work is dead. We must make sure of our election as children of God by: adding to our faih: (faith+virtue+knowledge+temperance+patience+godliness+brotherly kindness+charity.) In our Christian life 3 must remain: FAITH HOPE AND LOVE.The greatest of all is LOVE. God wants all men to be saved and come to repentance and to knowledge of truth. 2 Peter 3:9 "not willing any should perish but come to repentance God bless!.
