Bushes are considered inferior to trees, especially if they don't bear fruit. The olive tree represents the house of Israel, the fig tree Jews in particular, the almond tree the sons of Aaron, etc. When the Israelites were forced into slavery they weren't free to express themselves as they wished, and so could not be regarded as a true tree. The bush represents Israel under slavery; it appeared to burn, but was not consumed. The burning bush is a picture of God's interaction with, love for, and commitment to the Israelites even in their very humble circumstances at that time. God spoke out of the burning bush in recognition of Israel's plight in Egypt, implying that he can do his will even with the most insignificant of people, who were only a bush at that time. The burning bush is also a type or foreshadowing of the descent of the Holy Spirit for Christians, and the miracle of Pentecost in particular.

When we read Ex 3 we see that God Himself is speaking to Moses. Now coming to Acts 7::30 we read that an angel of God spoke to Moses. Similarly when we read Isaiah 6 we understand that Isaiah saw God Himself in the fullness of His glory.But in John 12.41 we can see that Isaiah actually saw our Lord [Second Person in the Holy Trinity, who is called Jesus Christ after incarnation] in the fullness of His Glory Of the three persons who appeared to Patriarch Abraham one is Almighty God as is clear from Genesis 18::16-33 John the Apostle has emphatically stated that no one has seen God the Father. It is the Son who has made Him known [John 1::17 & 18] Our Lord states: "Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father "[ John 14::9 ] From the above my conclusion is that the pre-incarnate Second Person in the Holy Trinity has made these appearances.in the Old Testament times We the Syriac Orthodox Christians have a song rendered into English as follows Bush which Moses saw up on Mount Sinai Was your right Symbol O holy virgin Leaves that did not burn do sure represent Your virginity; your body was bush Haleluyah Haleluyah Fire in the bush, God who did dwell in you As per this song, the Fire in the bush is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.
